Gucci, Armani Exchange, Oakley 3D Glasses!?

 Gucci 3D Glasses

Oakley 3D Glasses

Gucci, Armani Exchange and Oakley have all announced that they will be dropping their first (unisex) 3D glasses design by December. Oakley was the first to announce that they were thinking about collaborating with Disney to create an advanced form of 3D glasses for their newest 3D movie Tron: Legacy set to hit theaters December 17. They will be available at Sunglass Hut, Oakley stores and online. These frames will run you $150.

Next Gucci announced that they were releasing 3D glasses. These are A LOT more stylish, they are based off an aviator frame (my favorite!). They also have the signature green/red band on the bridge and temple arm. They will be available exclusively in U.S. Gucci boutiques and will set you back $225!!!

And finally Armani Exchange joined the mix with their take on the stylish 3D glasses idea. Their frame is also based on the aviator design. However these frames might be the most reasonable for the main population because they only cost $58. They will be available at retail stores and online.

Well with the increasing amount of 3D movies being released and innovations in technology like 3D TV (that you can enjoy in the comfort of your own home), this could be a legitimate investment. Within the next few years 3D entertainment will be making a significant mark in main stream media. And if you don't want to be rocking those uncomfortable, recycled, hideous monstrosities then maybe you should consider it? They are all made of plastic but these glasses have been specially designed to improve 3D viewing and clarity.
